KAO.PIAK.SEN was founded by a grandmother who, during the turmoil of the Vietnam War, settled in Udon Thani, bringing with her the rich culinary traditions of her homeland. Starting from a humble street food trolley, she created a beloved local restaurant renowned for its legendary dish, “Kao Piak Sen”, a special Vietnamese Noodle Soup. This dish, featuring rice noodles simmered in a flavorful pork rib soup, has been a best-seller since 1978 or over 46 years.
